The programme equips students with skills in planning, implementing, and maintaining computing infrastructures, along with programming and web technologies. The curriculum covers programming, databases, software design, operating systems, networking, and mathematics. Students also develop soft skills like writing and presentation for better communication in the workplace. After completing the diploma, students can pursue a related degree from FCI or FIST.

SPM/O-Level or equivalent: Minimum Grade C in at least three (3) subjects (including Mathematics and a Pass in English); OR
UEC: Minimum Grade B in at least three (3) subjects (including Mathematics and a Pass in English); OR
STPM or equivalent: Minimum Grade C (GP 2.00) in one (1) subject AND a Credit in Mathematics at SPM Level or its equivalent; OR
STAM: Minimum grade of Maqbul (Pass) AND a Credit in Mathematics at SPM Level or its equivalent; OR
SKM Level 3: In a related field. (Candidates without Mathematics may be admitted subject to assessment to determine their competency in Mathematics equivalent to SPM level); OR
Certificate (Level 3, MQF): In a related field with at least a CGPA of 2.00; OR
Other relevant & equivalent qualifications: Recognised by the Malaysian Government. (Candidates can be admitted if their qualification includes Mathematics equivalent to SPM level. Those without a pass in Mathematics at SPM level or equivalent must take and pass the reinforcement Mathematics subject offered in the first semester or before enrolment with an unconditional offer); OR
APEL.A certificate: From MQA for admission into Diploma programmes.

Candidates with a pass in Mathematics at the SPM level (or equivalent) may be admitted if their qualification includes Mathematics equivalent to SPM level.
Candidates with a pass in Mathematics at SPM level (or equivalent) but without a Mathematics subject in their qualification must take and pass the reinforcement Mathematics subject equivalent to the SPM level.
Candidates with a credit in a Computing-related subject at the SPM level (or its equivalent) may be given preferential consideration.
