The PG Diploma in Education is designed for individuals and organisational cohorts seeking to enhance their expertise in education. The programme blends theory and practice, cultivating critical thinking and research skills to effectively address contemporary educational challenges. Students will explore a range of topics such as curriculum, pedagogy, leadership, and technology, offering a comprehensive understanding of various educational dimensions.
Core modules, such as Practice-Based Inquiry and Critical Perspectives in Curriculum and Pedagogy, equip students to critically engage with current educational debates. The programme includes a pathway to the MA Education, as well as opportunities to progress to the MA TESOL and MA Special and Inclusive Education (SIE) programmes.
The PG Diploma is tailored to meet the diverse learning needs and career goals of educators, administrators, and professionals, enabling graduates to drive innovation and create meaningful impact in their respective fields.
Please note that the PG Diploma in Education does not confer Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).

Entry Requirements
Degree Requirements:
A relevant second-class honours degree (2:2) or international equivalent. Relevant experience may be required for certain programs.
Non-UK qualifications will be assessed against the UK standard.
Malaysian applicants with substantial work experience but without standard entry requirements may be considered if they pass the Accredited Prior Experiential Learning (APEL) assessment via the Malaysian Qualifications Agency (MQA).
Degree Source:
Applicants must hold a degree from a recognized university. All academic backgrounds are welcome, and a wide range of qualifications are considered. Some programs may require qualifications in related fields.
English Language Proficiency:
IELTS (Academic): 6.5 (with no less than 6.0 in each element)
TOEFL (iBT): 90 (minimum 19 in Writing and Listening, 20 in Reading, and 22 in Speaking)
PTE (Academic): 71 (with no less than 65 in each element)
MUET: Band 4.5
Test results must be less than two years old.
IELTS One Skill Retake is accepted.
IELTS Academic Online, TOEFL iBT Home Edition, and PTE Academic Online are not accepted.
MUET results are valid for five years.
Additional Information:
Applicants may be invited to attend an interview if further evaluation is required.
