Overview
This six-month, full-time course is designed to develop advanced skills and knowledge in perioperative nursing. It prepares registered nurses with essential competencies in pre-operative patient care, intra-operative management and post operative care for surgical condition.
Graduates of this course will be equipped to assist with surgical procedures and provide high-quality perioperative nursing care in line with industry standards.
This curriculum provides an overview of the perioperative nursing component within the nursing education programme accredited by the Malaysian Qualifications Agency and the Ministry of Nursing Board, Malaysia.
