The Pathway to Success and Professional Excellence in Accounting and Finance.
The Bachelor in Accounting & Finance (Hons) program equips students with a focused education on the legal, business, and social contexts in which accounting and finance functions. It also ensures that students become proficient in the technical terminologies and practices of the accounting and finance fields within a market economy. This includes skills in preparing and interpreting financial statements, managerial accounting, auditing, taxation, and corporate finance.

Upon successful completion of the program, graduates will be granted exemptions from the following professional bodies:

  • ACCA – Exemption from all 9 ACCA Fundamental papers
  • CPA Australia – Exemption from 6 Foundation level papers
  • CIMA – Exemption from 8 CIMA papers, with the remaining 8 papers required to complete the professional qualification.

Entry Requirements

Entry Requirement:

STPM: 2 C+s or CGPA 2.33
A-Levels: 2 Ds
UEC: 5 Credits, including a Credit in Mathematics
Foundation Studies: Pass with a minimum CGPA of 2.50
Diploma: Diploma in Accounting or related field; Pass with a minimum CGPA of 2.50
English Entry Requirement:

Band 3 in MUET
Band 5.5 in IELTS; or a minimum score of 46 (IBT) or 8 (Essentials-Online) in TOEFL; or Cambridge English CAE & CPE (from 2015) (160); or PTE Academic (51)
