Overview

The Bachelor of Microelectronic Technology with Honours equips students with essential skills in electronics, semiconductor and artificial intelligence (AI) to meet the evolving demands of the microelectronics industry. This 3-year programme offers 2 years of on-campus learning and an optional 1-year Work-Based Learning pathway (2U1I), allowing students to undertake a one-year industry placement. This structured internship enables students to earn academic credits while developing industry-specific skills and knowledge, enhancing their employability upon graduation.

This programme is recognised by the Malaysian Board of Technologists (MBOT), providing graduates with professional recognition that boosts their credentials in the highly competitive field of microelectronics. By integrating theoretical knowledge with practical training, it prepares graduates for careers in microelectronics, semiconductor manufacturing and AI-driven technologies.
