Multidisciplinary, flexible, and designed to foster creativity and independence, UOW Malaysia’s Foundation Programs (Foundation Studies and Foundation in Arts) are one-year pre-university courses that prepare students for fields such as:

– Communication & Creative Arts
– Hospitality
– Computing
– Law
– Digital & Creative Media
The Foundation in Arts is a one year program that provides 2 elective areas:
- Law / Humanities
- IT / Computer Science
These programs equip students with a strong foundation in their chosen discipline, alongside a broad-based education that nurtures 21st-century soft skills, critical thinking, and public speaking. Students will explore innovative ideas, develop essential skills, and seamlessly transition into degree programs at UOW Malaysia.

Entry Requirements
SPM / GCE O-Levels: Minimum 5 Credits
UEC: Minimum 3 Credits (Grade B6 or higher)
English Requirement
Local Students: Pass in English at SPM level or equivalent
International Students:
IELTS: Band 4.0
TOEFL (iBT): Minimum score of 30
TOEFL (Essentials-Online): Minimum score of 5
Cambridge English: Minimum score of 140
PTE Academic: Minimum score of 36
