About Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM) Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM) was established in 1969 as the second university in the country. It offers a wide range of courses at undergraduate and postgraduate levels to 30,000 students: 17 Academic schools on the main campus (island of Penang), mainly known as USM Penang 6 schools at Engineering campus (Nibong Tebal) 3 schools at Health campus (Kubang Kerian) It offers excellent opportunities for research, innovation and education to both local and foreign undergraduates and postgraduates. About Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM) Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM) was established in 1970, this university was born from the aim of keeping the Malay language as the national language of the knowledge. UKM has made a huge grown over the years and now they have 13 faculties, 13 research institutes and two commercial entities. About School of Graduate Studies, Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) At the School of Graduate Studies (SGS), it plays a key role at being a service and administrative centre to provide assistance to postgraduate students when registration at UPM and other processes involved after the completion of their studies. Since its establishment in 1978, it was given a bigger role as a service centre that possesses a status equal to that of a faculty at the University.
