The Diploma in Healthcare Services at UOW Malaysia at the Glenmarie, Selangor campus is a 3-year program that combines elements of hospitality and healthcare, with a special focus on customer service and medical tourism in the healthcare sector. This program equips graduates with essential skills in healthcare hospitality, health sciences, and information technology, preparing them to meet the ever-changing needs of the industry. Students will gain expertise in areas such as customer service, medical records, event planning, and logistics, ensuring they are ready to contribute to the growth of the healthcare industry.
The program also develops strong analytical, leadership, and customer management skills, including managing international patients. In the final semester, students complete a 6-month industrial placement, providing practical, hands-on experience in frontline healthcare management.
Graduates will develop:
- Strong analytical thinking and leadership abilities.
- Skills in managing customer relations, including working with international patients.
- Knowledge of the use of information technology in healthcare.
- Understanding of revenue management in a front-office environment.
- Practical experience through a 6-month industrial placement in a healthcare setting.

Min. 3 Credits including of Mathematics or one Science subject; 2 Credits in any other subjects; Pass in Bahasa Malaysia and English

Pass Level 3 in related field (Health Sciences)
