About The three-year Bachelor of Computer Science (Hons.) program provides students with a solid foundation in computing and exposure to the latest technologies. In the first year, all students take core subjects before choosing a specialization in one of the following areas in their second year: Software Engineering, Game Development, Data Science, or Cybersecurity. In their final year, students will complete a capstone project and participate in industrial training to gain hands-on industry experience. Data Science focuses on creating solutions to extract meaningful insights from large datasets, known as Big Data. Students receive foundational training in computer science theories and learn techniques for processing Big Data to generate impactful business analytics. About The objective of this course is to equip students with the necessary knowledge and skills required to be successful in building the much-needed intelligent computer systems. Based on the solid foundations of Computer Science and Information Technology, the three-year degree programme covers the traditional grounds of artificial intelligence, such as fundamental in artificial intelligence, programming language concept, and computational intelligence. It then extends to advanced and deeper understanding of AI techniques in application, such as Computer Vision, Natural Language Processing, Data analytics, etc.
